at the morning when i switched on the tv i saw that there is huge explosion on the scene at taj mumbai hotel in the old building.then all the security personnel started to gather at one place and there seems to be realisation in their body language and faces.
one soldier even seen talking on his mobile and smiling.that's the indication that all is over.few minutes later the nsg(national security guards)head who is incharge of this operation came out and declared amid commotion of media persons that three terrorists were killed and it seems that there are no more terrorist left but the operation code named cyclone taj is still on.
on news channel gave the newss that there was the making of jw marriot (Pakistan)at the taj mumbai.but the plan failed to take of due to initial resistance faced by the terrorists at the taj.
it is also learned that all the terrorists were from pakistan and they got some local logistic support.also the plan was in the offing since one year.
the 12 terrorist started from karachi and hijacked a boat trawler of porbunder and came to gate way of india.they dropped two thirds of their ammunition in the sea because they realised that it is difficult carry them such heavy load in the city on their own without a carrier vehicle.
some ammunition was already arrived in the city well before the arrival of terrorist on 26 th nov 2008.it was evident from blast at vileparle.that no terrorist who came by sea reached santakruz-vileparle on 26 th night.
police are still worried remaining ammunition in the city and its whereabouts.
